The new and improved Roboze One offers 25 micron resolution, a stainless steel extruder, a wider range of materials, and more.

In the ever-growing realm of desktop 3D printing, the market is somewhat fragmented between consumer affordability and business capability. While beginners are likely better off with a budget 3D printer, those with more of a maker spirit will benefit from machines with increased functionality.

The Italian 3D printer manufacturer Roboze is tackling small and medium enterprises (SMEs) with their unique Beltless System technology. Originally released last year, the company is revamping their flagship Roboze One desktop 3D printer.

The newly renovated printer contains a slew of new features, and also comes with a new line of advanced materials.

The New Roboze One: Specifications & Features

The most important improvement comes in the form of print quality. The new Roboze One offers an impeccable resolution of 25 microns. It also contains more powerful motors and a new stainless steel extruder.

This improved extruder is capable of reaching up to 300° C, making this printer compatible with professional-grade materials. Roboze is increasing the durability of their printer as well, making it more silent and easier to use.

The Italian manufacturer also added a 3.5 inch touchscreen color display to the printer model, increasing accessibility and intuitiveness. Other features include emergency sensors and buttons, an enhanced ventilation system, and external SD card and USB ports.

All Roboze printers come equipped with their patented Beltless System, their uniquely smooth mechatronic movement technology.

Instead of using a traditional belt system, the company implements robust helical racks and pinions. This helps the new Roboze One achieve exceptional accuracy of 25 micron resolution. This Beltless System also makes printer maintenance much more convenient.

Roboze Expands Material Capabilities to Reach More Markets

In addition to the hardware improvements, Roboze is unveiling a range of filaments, bringing their total number to 10. New material options include CARBON PA, Nylon 6, ASA, PC-ABS, and ABS-ESD.

Each one of these materials is engineered to meet specific needs that customers of small or medium sized enterprises would require.

For example, ASA is a techno-polymer that is resistant to extreme weather, UV rays, yellowing and aging. This makes it ideal for automotive and outdoor applications. Nylon 6, on the other hand, is a polyamide with high mechanical resistance, allowing for components in the field of metalworking.

Slowly but surely, Roboze is partnering with distributors across the world to boost their professional-grade printer onto the global market. The new and improved Roboze One will officially be unveiled at the Rapid + TCT show in Pittsburgh, which takes place from May 8 to May 11.
