Artemis Unleashed: German students' new electric racer optimized with 3D printed uprights.

The next generation of German automotive engineers, now the motorsport team at Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences, unveiled its new electric racing car for the 2025 season. The students spent a year designing, tinkering, and testing to achieve the best possible performance on the racetrack with the G25e model, dubbed Artemis. Local metal 3D printing service company Lightway contributed the printing of student-designed topology-optimized wheel uprights made of A20X high-strength aluminum alloy.
