Qidi Tech has a new Klipper-based, CoreXY 3D printer available for pre-order: the Qidi Tech Q1 Pro.

We’re thrilled to see more Qidi Tech right now; three of the company’s previous X-series printers garnered mention in our enclosed 3D printers buyer’s guide. They’re no-nonsense machines that pack a punch, especially at their respective price points.

At the outset, the fully enclosed Q1 Pro looks no less attractive, especially with its active heating chamber (a feature also present on the OEM’s X-Plus 3 and X-Max 3, but not the scaled-down X-Smart 3) and $599 MSRP.

The Q1 Pro boasts a build volume of 245 x 245 x 240 mm, a claimed max speed of 600 mm/s, and acceleration of around 20,000 mm/s2. The printer’s independent dual Z motors are capable of “automatic tilt leveling”, with features such as auto bed leveling – with “dual sensors” seemingly both on the printhead and in the bed – and auto Z offset also working to improve print quality and accuracy.

A tri-metal hot end rated to 350 °C comes with filament runout and filament tangle detection, while quality-of-life features such as a 1080P camera will allow for the creation of quality timelapses. Users control the printer via a 4.3-inch touchscreen, or via the Qidi app for remote printing.

US orders for the Q1 Pro are estimated to ship at the end of May (end of June for UK and EU orders). For now, the machine is available at a discounted $469, but it’s unclear how long that will last. For full specs, check out the Q1 Pro’s product page on Qidi Tech’s website.
