The G1 Series combines photopolymer-based 3D printing, surface texture output, and direct-to-object 2D UV printing, with early backers getting exclusive pricing before the Kickstarter launch.
Industrial full-color 3D printing typically costs tens of thousands of dollars and requires massive floor space. The new HeyGears G1 Series, comprising the G1 and G1X, aims to disrupt that dynamic, combining full-color 3D printing, 3D textures, and 2D UV direct-to-object printing into a single desktop unit for under $5,000.
Heading to Kickstarter in July 2026, the three-in-one system promises to bring high-end production capabilities straight to small businesses, print professionals, and independent creators.

The G1 Series is a genuinely unified production system with three distinct output modes, each optimized for different creative and commercial applications.
The G1 runs on a six-channel ink system with an F1080 print head, while the G1X uses an eight-channel ink system and Epson I3200 industrial-grade printhead, which is designed to reduce the risk of clogging and support stable, long-term operation.
The G1X also features a quad-layer anti-clogging system, which uses white-ink stirring to prevent pigment sedimentation, a printhead heating system that maintains optimal ink viscosity, automated cleaning cycles during idle periods, and a sealed moisturizing state during extended inactivity.
HeyGears says the full-color 3D printing mode brings roughly 90% of industrial-level performance at around 10% of the cost, with a form factor explicitly designed for desktop use.
HeyGears’ self-developed automatic calibration system maintains print quality, while a line-scan camera acts at the machine’s core vision system, capturing substrate contours line by line for high-accuracy adaptive alignment. A top wide-angle camera provides auxiliary positioning support to reduce distortion and parallax effects.
The platform is also built to scale. A modular design system supports add-ons like rotary, flatbed, and roll-to-film attachments, as well as a Resin Station, adapting to different production volumes and workflow requirements. Future material developments include soft white ink for textile and fabric-based applications.
On the software side, HeyGears integrates AIGC one-tap modeling through HeyVerse AI and Blueprint Studio. This allows you to generate a 3D model from a text prompt or image, or convert a 2D visual into a 3D-texture output, and send it directly to the printer.

The G1 Series is built to address a wide range of applications that would otherwise require multiple separate systems:
The HeyGears G1 Series is scheduled to launch officially on Kickstarter in July 2026. If you’re looking to secure the G1 Series at the lowest price, HeyGears is offering a pre-launch VIP reservation program.
A refundable $50 deposit locks in the lowest launch pricing and unlocks exclusive VIP rewards, which includes an extra $300 off the standard Super Early Bird price, complimentary UV white ink (a $39 value), and priority shipping queues.
