Still high off its incredible Kickstarter run, which raised $7.85 million and is the most funded technology project on the crowdfunding site, Snapmaker is offering huge discounts on its Snapmaker 2.0 models.
All three different sizes are reduced: the A150 (160 x 160 x 145 mm build volume) has gone from $1,199 to $799, the A250 (230 x 250 x 235 mm) from $1,499 to $999, and the A350 (320 x 350 x 330 mm) from $1,799 to $1,199.
The three-in-one machine can 3D print, has a laser cutter and is capable of CNC milling. It has an improved design on its predecessor, a freshly designed controller, and a slew of other features for each module. We tried out the original Snapmaker and found it to be extremely competent in all three areas, so it’s likely the newer iteration won’t disappoint (though we don’t know for certain as we, too, haven’t gotten our hands on it).
You won’t get the machine right away though. The earliest you’ll receive one is March 2020, which is when Snapmaker says they’ll be sent out.
