New enterprise network security and fleet management software development support added to the H2D that you already know.

Bambu Lab just launched the H2D Pro at $3,799 (AMS 2 Pro & AMS HT included). This is the “enterprise-grade” H2D with all the same features of the H2D launched in March but with custom fleet management software development support from Bambu Lab and the enterprise network security (WPA2-Enterprise, Ethernet) a lot of professionals were waiting for.

The H2D Pro now has the same WPA2-Enterprise Wi-Fi as the X1E, physical network kill switches like the X1E, plus an Ethernet port.

Even though the USB enables completely offline operation for isolated or highly secure setups, the presence of a physical network kill switch for both WiFi and Ethernet adds another layer of protection, giving you immediate control over the printer’s network access and reducing risks of cyberattacks, data breaches, or unauthorized remote operation.

The inclusion of a removable network module takes this security even a step further. By physically detaching the networking hardware, the printer can be fully “air-gapped,” eliminating any possibility of network-based intrusion. This modular approach also allows for future upgrades or quick hardware replacement without affecting the printer’s main systems.

Support for 802.1X network access control positions the printer firmly in the realm of enterprise-ready equipment. This protocol ensures that the printer must authenticate before connecting to a network, integrating smoothly with corporate IT infrastructures that demand identity-based access control. It prevents unauthorized devices from connecting and aligns the printer’s security with the standards already used in many professional environments.

Enterprise Integration Support

Bambu Lab says it is providing professional support for enterprises to custom-develop efficient printer fleet management tools to meet their business integration needs. “Our expert software R&D team offers full technical assistance to help clients achieve their required customized functionalities. For more details, please contact your local reseller,” the company said.

Hardware-wise, everything on the Pro version of the H2D (outside of networking equipment) is the same as the original H2D printer.  The H2D Pro is fully compatible with the Toolhead Enhanced Cooling Fan and Tungsten Carbide Nozzle from the H2D, but these accessories are not expected to be available in the official store until Q4 2025. Check out the Bambu Lab H2D Pro Wiki for more in-depth specs.
