Anycubic Unveils Next-Generation LighTurbo 2.0 UV System

The novel Anycubic LighTurbo 2.0 light source leverages COB lighting system technology. It consists of a COB light source, concave reflector, and light source smart cooling system. With the design of the concave mirror, the light is collimated and turned into an aligned and consistent beam. Here are some of the benefits that users will get from the new Anycubic LighTurbo 2.0 technology.

Better Technology Means Better Results

Since all the screen areas are cured simultaneously, a higher light uniformity value offers improved detail textures and higher accuracy when printing large models. The Anycubic LighTurbo 2.0 Lighting System can deliver an average light uniformity of over 90%, much higher than the average light uniformity of the common COB light source + Fresnel lens system. Thus, it ensures that all the printing details and textures are at the same uniformity level when printing large objects.

No Aperture Patterns Issues

Different light sources have different degrees of diffraction of light. The lower the dispersion value of the product light uniformity, the fewer trace patterns show up in the printed model. The data from the Anycubic Lab shows that the COB light source + Fresnel lens solution has an average light dispersion value of 105.02, while the average light dispersion of the Anycubic LighTurbo 2.0 ( COB+concave mirror) is only 36.205, almost lower two times. So, this uniformity will contribute to a better print result. In addition, it could eliminate the aperture patterns issues caused by the surface of the Fresnel lens.

Never Lose Details

Light tends to stray as it travels. So, as printing proceeds layer by layer, there are some places on a print in which resins appear to accumulate. In such cases, the prints won’t be cured thoroughly and will lose detail during the curing process.

According to the data from Anycubic Lab, the stray light level of the LighTurbo 2.0 is 1.26%, much lower than the 3.47% stray light level on the COB Light source with a Fresnel lens. Anycubic Photon M3 Premium could achieve more consistent print results and reduce the loss of print accuracy caused by the semi-curing issue in certain areas of the print.

The Anycubic Photon M3 Premium is also equipped with a sensor on the back of the COB lighting system that detects temperature. When the temperature of the system exceeds 65°C, the smart cooling system will activate the fans to accelerate the cooling process. With large heat sinks on both sides of the COB light, the heat will be effectively dispersed to ensure that the working temperature of the light source is within 65°C, thereby significantly extending the life of the COB light source.

Larger Build Volume Enables Endless Creativity

The Anycubic Photon M3 Premium offers a build size of 25 x 22 x 12 cm. Compared to other M3 series 3D printers, users can print bigger models or put more parts on the build plate for maximum efficiency, all without reducing the overall resolution.

Ball Screw Mechanism Z-axis with Two Linear Rails ensure Better Performance and Stability
The Z-axis runs on two linear rails and features a ball screw mechanism. Compared to the lead screw mechanism, the ball screw structure could provide a higher lifting accuracy of 0.005mm, double the accuracy of the Z-axis compared to the T-screw, thus eliminating the layer lines.

The ball screw design ensures rolling friction between the nut and the screw instead of sliding, providing a smoother and faster lift during the printing process. According to the figure acquired from the Anycubic lab, the M3 Premium can reach a print speed of up to 95mm/h. Compared with other 8K 3D printers with a Z-axis lead screw mechanism design, the accelerated speed could save up to 2.5 hours in printing time for a 12cm model.

• Dual Air Purifiers: Captures and filters out fumes from the resin 3D printer. The design of these symmetrical purifiers makes the air outlet area 1.5 times larger, contributing to higher air purification efficiency.
• Larger Volume Resin Vat with NFEP Liner Film: M3 Premium holds more resin and allows users to produce large format prints without adding resin during the printing process.
