3D printing and video games go really well together. Here‘s a great looking cabinet to give your Nintendo Switch a perfect Neo Geo retro feel.

Ah, the Neo Geo. When it was launched in 1990 by SNK, it brought the most amazing arcade games to your home. Okay, the console wasn’t exactly cheap (roughly three times the price of a SNES or Sega Genesis and its modules). But you knew you were getting exactly the same quality you had seen in the arcades.

The lineup of games (and still is) impressive: Metal Slug 3 (2004), King of Fighters (1998), The Last Blade (1997), Blazing Star (1998), King Of Fighters 98: The Slugfest (1998), Windjammers (1994), just to name a few.

Ever since the first emulators (like NeoRage) came out, things have become easier for interested gamers to get that Neo Geo.

Also, the Nintendo Switch offers access to all these gaming gems for a relatively low price. But there’s something missing: The flair of the arcade.

Neo Geo Arcade Cabinet: Two Versions are Available

ShigeryuShop is offering an arcade cabinet on Etsy. The desk cabinet comes in two versions. The first one consists of 5 3D printed parts, the small version just of three.

If you add the Nintendo Switch screen to the Neo Geo arcade cabinet and pair some Bluetooth controllers, you are ready to go.

Currently, the seller’s seems to be sold out on Etsy. Hopefully, demand will push the seller to re-stock. Also, it‘s not entirely clear if you buy the parts or get the blueprints for 3D printing.

Also, please be aware that the images you see are pre-rendered, so your cabinet may need some coloring and decal stickers.
