The newest Terminator film has Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton revisit their roles as the iconic characters “T-800” and Sarah Connor. What makes the film so special is the fact that it marks James Cameron’s return to the franchise, and as a consequence, it completely disregards everything that happened after “Terminator 2: Judgement Day”.

If you’re as stoked about the new film as we are, then you’re sure to enjoy making these 3D printed Terminator models we’ve curated.

The iconic T-800, with its external facade removed, has always been seen as a menacing character ever since the machine appeared in the original film. Now you can print a T-800 endoskull to display on your desk.

This model is known to have problems when using Slimpify3D, so the creator recommends using Cura instead. It’s been optimized for ease of printing and minimal use of supports.

For science fiction fans, you can’t find a lamp much cooler than this. A life-size T-800 arm display made into a lamp! This won’t just light up the room, it’ll make it look like a robotic lab from the future! While it’s a challenging build, it’s sure to turn heads and be worth every bit of post-processing elbow grease.

This impressive model has parts that may require some supports. It’s also a fairly complex make to complete, with glue, nails, and not to mention post-processing required. Attempt with care.

That’s right – this T-800 arm actually works! It’s another conversation starter and all-around cool prop to play with. It’s based on the design from the original film and looks incredibly accurate. The arm is something that has inspired robotics in fantasy and reality for decades. Now you can make one yourself!

This arm was printed one part at a time. The creator recommends using ABS so that you can use a solvent to repair or weld parts together. The creator also recommends buying tubing, as it’s faster and likely cheaper to buy tubes at a hardware store than print them.

This print looks just as menacing as the T-800 in the original film. Now you can make one and stick it on your mantle or maybe even give it to your kids to play with. You might also want a make a few for yourself and your friends. After all, who doesn’t want a T-800 model of their very own?

This print is a difficult one, so beginners probably shouldn’t start here. The creator reports it was difficult to get the supports off without breaking the model’s fingers. The creator also used glue and a soldering gun to weld parts together.

This is a replica of the T-800 CPU that was featured in “Terminator 2: Judgement Day”. It looks incredibly close to the one shown in the film and would make a nice display piece on any desk or shelf. It’s also a pretty simple print to make, so you should have no trouble adding it to your own collection.

This print is made to be printed in two halves, then glued together. Otherwise, it should be fairly easy to print.

If you remember watching the original Terminator and having nightmares about Skynet’s “hunter-killer drones” you know now that they may have been well-founded! With modern advances in artificial intelligence and 3D printing, drone technology is really taking off. Thankfully, this drone is just a model, but the turbines actually rotate just like the real thing!

This is another difficult print owing to the thin tail wings. You’ll need some glue and patience to meet the challenge.
