With a brand new facility and multi-million dollar credit line to its name, Aleph Objects paints a picture of health for the desktop 3D printing industry.

With a laundry list of accolades for its Lulzbot Taz and Mini 3D printers to its name, you could say that Aleph Objects has had a pretty successful year.

Indeed, its printers have held firm as two of Amazon’s top selling printers for some time. And now, as growing companies are wont to do, it has just announced an expansion into shiny new digs.

That and it has a new $3-million dollar line of credit with Bank of the West.

The company will still occupy its 17,000 square-foot Aleph Mountain facility in Loveland Colorado, USA. The new building — a 6,500 square-foot Aleph Lago complex — will supplement this. Called Aleph Lago, it is also in Loveland.

At Aleph Lago the company has established more of a creator atmosphere, with collaborative spaces and offices dedicated to content creation.

Bigger Business for Aleph Objects

Reasoning the need for the new facility, Julie Petit, Aleph Objects’ R&D Manager explains:

“We have numerous exciting development projects underway. Additional space will increase our efficiency so we can get next generation LulzBot technology in customers’ hands sooner.”

Equally as important news as the expanded operations at Aleph Lago is the financial flexibility from the new credit line.

Speaking of the importance of the company’s expansion, a representative from Bank of the West said “Manufacturing continues to play a critical role in the American economy and we’re dedicated to providing businesses like Aleph Objects with the resources required for smart growth,”

Exciting times ahead then. Indeed, here’s hoping this expansion allows the company to continue championing an open source environment and keep building top notch printers.
