Adidas finally releases the Futurecraft 4D shoe. Featuring a 3D printed midsole created with Carbon's Digital Light Synthesis platform, the move is considered a watershed moment for 3D printed consumer goods. Coinciding with the occasion, Adidas exec Eric Liedtke joins Carbon's Board of Directors.

Adidas expands its line of Futurecraft 4D sneakers with the release of the Y-3 RUNNER 4D II. Produced using Carbon's speedy 3D printing technology and designed by Japanese fashion designer Yohji Yamamoto, sneaker connoisseurs are sure to get a kick out of these.
After the successful release of the Futurecraft 4D footwear, adidas and Carbon are collaborating once again on the newly announced AlphaEDGE 4D LTD shoe. This high-performance footwear is partially 3D printed with Carbon's groundbreaking Digital Light Synthesis technology.
